Melanie Adams, PA-C, MPAS is a certified Physician Assistant who has been in practice for 20 years. She has specialized in Dermatology since 2007.
Melanie graduated from the University of Kentucky’s Physician Assistant program in 1995 and worked in Psychiatry and Family Medicine until relocating to North Carolina in 2002. She later received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska. After four years working as an Epilepsy specialist in the Department of Neurology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, she began training in the field of Dermatology. She has extensive training in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, and her top priority is to provide the most comprehensive patient care and develop outstanding patient trust and rapport.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In her free time she enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, golfing, and time with her dogs.
